Village Hall Funding - Referendum
The Parish Council have voted to hold a referendum on whether the residents of Hermitage are willing to support the hall by means of a small increase in Council Tax. A grant of £250,000 repaid over 25 years at a fixed interest rate will add £18 per year to a Band D property. This grant will attract match funding from Greenham Common, and with a small amount of additional funding from other grants will allow the whole hall to be built.
Grundon Proposed Incinerator.
